Things that make me smile #25232: Watching a documentary on transgendered college students, and seeing one of them participate in a drag king troupe...as *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. [Sidenote: the Bye Bye Bye routine is very very easy to spot.]
And seriously, the guy that used to play Justin Timberlake? Quit the drag king troupe. True story.
ETA: Oh man, the guy that plays AJ in it is one of the featured FTMs, and above his bed HE HAS POSTERS OF *NSYNC. PLURAL.
No but seriously, if you can get your hands on TransGeneration, go and watch it. It's very, very well done and the four kids featured in it are awesome. |

So uh, I think I got hit by a car.
Basically I was trying to cross the road at the driving centre to get to my instructor's car. As usual the @#$%^&*( streets around it were full of parked cars along the side, slow learners hogging the road, and jaywalking people. I tried to cross in front of a stationary taxi, which blocked my view of any oncoming cars. Just when I tried to take a step further to see if any cars were coming, I stepped out into the path of a moving car and got hit.
I suppose it's more accurate to say that I got smushed very hard against the car, but the impact was hard enough to knock me onto my hands and knees, and fling my glasses (which I was wearing) and bag some distance away. I'm still not too sure whose fault it was. The learner driver didn't even get out of the car (the instructor did instead), so I never knew who hit me.
Thank god nothing got broken, bones or otherwise. I do however have bruises on my knee, one of which is skinned, and what I'm pretty sure is going to be a fucking wicked bruise on my left foot. Speaking of which, I'm not even sure if my left foot was run over by the car.
After that I got into my instructor's car and had a horrible two hour driving lesson. Did I mention I absolutely hate driving?
Also, I got my period and accompanying cramps today. This had better mean I've got something awesome happening to me soon. |

I might be slow, but I don't recall ever seeing this video before. It's from the official youtube page and embedding has been disabled, but do go and watch here!
I'm having trouble downloading, and it appears to be restricted in some countries for some reason. If someone can get a download, please do share so everyone can see because Brian truly is GORGEOUS in it.
(They need to put this technology on their songs! lulz!). |

| ca335 - Ugol Ratmanova - Year-olds Rusch |
[Nov. 27th, 2009|03:28 pm] |

Artist: Ugol Ratmanova Title: Year-olds Rusch #ca335 Date: 2009-11-26 Keywords: live electronica; industrial; experimental (320 kbps)
Material for her third studio album, the moscow musicians recorded in the june-september 2009 period. Album entirely made up of studio improvisation jams, all 6 tracks was live performed, mainly on analog equipment. Minimal use of computers and software synthesizers allowed the authors to get a powerful and even aggressive sound. Stylistically а new work Ugol Ratmanova duo can be attributed to the electronics of 70's of the 20 century, with a strong bias in the "old-school industrial" late 70's-early 80's. I really, really like this photo. And I know as fans we tend to say this every album cycle, but I really do think they look the happiest and most comfortable with each other more than ever right now. It's really cute to see!

Also, further proof that the earrings are back... |

| Princes Part 7 (Kevin/Nick) |
[Nov. 25th, 2009|10:34 pm] |
Title: Princes Author: David/ blueboxers Pairing: Kevin/Nick, Lance/JC Beta by: None. No one else has seen this chapter but me. So... sorry for all the mistakes you'll be seeing. A/N: Ok, so this part is about three times longer than I planned. The first part should have been part of part 6. It wasn't enough to have its own part. So hear it is. Actually it's a little short in some parts I wanted to write more, but I really wanted to get this out for Thanksgiving and for pikapika217... Who actually requested this... I'm such a push over. I almost wrote a sex scene, but then I remembered that I was never going to write a sex scene for this series. Actually, when I started this, I didn't write sex scenes yet... Happy Thanksgiving!
( Did Nick just... ) |

If you could go back in time, what time would you live in and where would you live? 5. If you could have any ONE thing in the entire world (not including money) what would it be?
Copy and paste to your own journal, then reply to this post with a link to your answers.
