School starts back up monday. Between school, work, and dance, i really am going to have ZERO free time. I'm scared that i'm not going to be able to handle it all.
This is my schedule:
Monday:
school-- 9:30-1:40pm dance-- 3-5
Tuesday:
school-- 8-9:15am work-- 1030-3:00 dance (this day i work the front desk at my studio)-- 5-8
Wednesday:
school-- 9:30-3:40 dance--- 6-8
Thursday:
school-- 8-9:15 work-- 1-4:30 dance-- 5-6 then hour break then I teach MY class 7-8
Friday:
possible work-- 9:30-1
Saturday:
dance team rehearsal-- 12-2pm
-----------------------------------------------
I *think* i might be dead by the end of the semester. Add into all this trying to have a realtionship with my still not, but hopefully soon to be boy Mac, dating other guys until Mac makes me his girl officially, trying to have time with friends and family and uhh the most important thing--STUDYING. Where exactly in my week will i get to actually study and do schoolwork? Seems to me like thats reserved for Fridays and Sundays. UhOh.

My dace studio's director/owner asked me to work a birthday party this weekend!!! I just got booked as the choreographer for a party! I'm so excited!
I've been doing some volunteer-choreographing at my studio this summer to help out at the summer camps- i help with the kids and teach some routines and stuff, but its all for free. Well booknig this party i'm actually getting PAID, and i'm the only choreographer!
I'm stoked, its like this is the first step to maybe getting my own class at my studio =) |

[Jul. 20th, 2009|10:31 pm] |

I was at Monsters of Hip Hop from friday to sunday with my dance team. It was the best weekend EVER! OMG we ahd soooo much fun! i got to meet MARTY KUDELKA (justin timberlakes choreographer), and Tony Testa (janet/michael jacksons assistant choreographer for their respective tours), and so many more amazing dancers/choreographers.
ALSO, i got to freestyle battle at the showcase! Thankfully my friend Alexa got it on video, so there i am above. I'm the only girl up with our group of 3, but im wearing a backwards hat. Im the one to the left. :) |

I was on the local news tonight!! Any Floridians on my flsit- watch Bay News 9 and at the top of the hour you'll see my dance studio and ME!! They showed a clip of my solo from our MJ tribute video!! COOLIOS!!
In other news- I got hit on at school today. Pretty cute guy, he's one of those "i'm white but i kinda think im black" guys, but he speaks well at least lol. He's a DJ, which is cool cause as a hiphop dancer we have that music in common, and it just so happens that he DJ's for a local performer, Ryan Kendrick, who my buddies Shoulin and MJ choreograph for. Coincident? |

| The Studio Dance CO. Presents: THRILLER!! |
[Jul. 3rd, 2009|11:10 pm] |
This is my dance team's re-creation of the Thriller video. We did this all in one day (one verrrry long day. 3-10,whooo!). I think it came it out very very good.
I'm not seen very much in the atcual Thriller choreography because i was in the back, but at 1:53 into the video I'm the 2nd waver/popper from the left, and then at the freestyle near the end i'm the second one out :) |

So my team and I decided to do our own Michael Jackson tribute- we recreated the THRILLER video! It took us 7 HOURS, but i think we did pretty awes. The video is being edited now, so as soon as its perfect i'll post it. For now- here are our pictures.
We went for a zombie-hiohop dancer look, rather than taking the original idea of just death/zombies. It's our own little spin.
me- all zombie-fied and deadlike lol
 MJ and me lol
 Alyshia, me, Lauren
 me and lauren
Alyshia, ME, joelle, jackie (this is an action shot- i was singing and joelle was laughing at me lol)

we're tigers. raaawr! lmao.

I'm in love with my dance team's new choreographer, Matt. I mean we basically should just get married now so we can begin our happily ever after, because us marrying and living together happily til death do we part is inevitable.
We're pretty much the same person. We're so alike it's scary to me....im talkin- he is the MALE version of me, basically. And who better to love than myself as a boy?
And he's adorable. And he's dancer so he understands me as a dancer. And he's a big goofy dork like me. And he's a huge Justin Timberlake fan. And he's got the same dance style as I do. And he knows BSB/Nsync/NKOTB dances just like I do. And i'm in love and i think he loves me too :)
But in all seriousness- if i'm not married to this man in the next 5-7 years someone needs to hunt me down and slap some sense into me, because he is PERFECT for me.

| friday five (even though its now saturday..wah wah waaah lol) |
[Jun. 27th, 2009|09:24 pm] |
1. If you can only hear one song for the rest of your life, what would it be? I think -at the moment at least- it would be "I'm On A Boat" by The Lonely Island. I know that sounds ridiculously lame, but its such an awesome song beat-wise that i could SO much with it with my choreography, so i think i'd chose that. Ask me next week and that will totally change though lol.
2. What one song would you like to be played on your funeral? "Lift Me Up" by Backstreet Boys :)
3. What one song that is best to describe your feeling right now? "Over It" by Katharine McPhee. That song is soooo spot on with my guy situation right now its now even funny.
4. What one song would you like to hear when you're sad and depressed? Anything by LIVE or Travis- they're my total downer music
5. What one song that you wished you have written? Thats a toughie...if we're going for pure money and fame i wish i had written like I Want It That Way or something that everyone knows. If we're going for actual content, i wish i had written...."Sober" by P!nk. |

....i hit my someones car tonight as i was leaving a party.
Fortunately- i know the guy who's car i hit- so i told him im just gonna give him money so we dont have to deal with parents and insurance. HOPEfully, he doesnt go off and tell his parents that he knows who hit him, just cause i dont want his parents to like get insurace involved when its really just a dented bumper. Kinda a big dent- but a dent, nonetheless.
My car, on the other hand, has a dent about the size of my fist. (i drive a toyota 4-runner and he has a compact junker lol) SO, my car didnt get as big of a dent as his did, which is good for me and my Dads sake -who's gonna flip tomorrow morning when he sees it. eeek! |

4. What is the one thing that makes a child likable to you? Not being a brat 24/7 lol

[Jun. 1st, 2009|10:55 pm] |
It's really wierd when you realize that someone you look up to and sort of idolize, does the same back to you.
I was in Orlando this past weekend with my cousin Meg, aunt Angie, and my cousin and my friend Andy. We went for just a girls weekend, to hang out by the pool and relax and eat a bunch of junkfood lol.
Andy is one of my cousins bestfriends from middle school, and because of this I have known her since i was about 8 or 9. She's always been my favorite of my cousins friends- she's hysterical, and she's always been nice to me. I always looked up to my older cousin and tried to be like her, and when i was around her and Andy more over the years I began looking up to Andy too. Andy and I have a lot in common- we both have the same body type, simmilar personalities, similar likes- we just have a lot in common and through these similarities I've seen how she's dealt with certain things and i've really idolized her and tried to be somewhat like her because she's such a cool person.
This weekend was so funny because i think i saw a little bit of the same sort of "idolization" coming from Andy towards me, which is wierd since i've always looked up to her. It's kinda cool though, seeing the person you look up think some of the same things about you.
Pretty neat.
 (l-r) Angie, Meg, ME, Andy
This is from our last grils weekend last month.

We both had lots to share so we really needed that. Oh and we got hit on by 3 guys in their (im estimating) early-to-mid 30's....thats always fun.... |
